Intermediate Handgun Training: 8 Hours (2 – 4 Hour Sessions)
ORSI's Intermediate
Handgun Course provides practical, realistic training beyond the
basic course. This is designed for the serious shooter who wants to
know how to use his/her gun like a professional.
With this course
you will attain the confidence that comes with knowledge and practical
experience. In two, four hour sessions you can expect to learn:
- Advanced Shooting
Techniques
- Drawing and Firing Techniques
- One-Hand Loading and Shooting Techniques
- Reloading and Stoppage Drills
- Multiple Targets/ Multiple Shots
- Shot Timing
Requirement:
Must have
completed a recognized basic handgun course.
Tuition: $295
Attire:
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and shoes. Be aware
that drawing and reholstering a handgun can sometimes leave marks
on your shirt.
You will
need to bring:
- One handgun (Students will use only one primary weapon throughout
the course).
- Students using revolvers must bring three (3) speed loaders with
pouches.
- Students using semi-automatic pistols must bring a total of three
(3) magazines.
- One
(1) inside the pants holster, preferably one made for your specific
weapon, (an outside the pants belt holster is acceptable).
- Ammunition
should be purchased at the range; at least 500 rounds will be fired.
- The
necessary ear and eye protection will be available for rental at
the range.
